INDIGENOUS MODERN LANDSCAPE
The Indigenous Modern Landscape concept is a landscape that is an extension of the modern context of the buildings within an indigenous environment. It’s a desert themed landscape based on the venicular elements of the native Dubai environment through the use of hardscape and planting materials. The landscape forms are derived from the buildings layout and angles. The shapes of the landscape spaces are geometric and ordered, to create unity and harmony with the scale and proportion of the architecture. The indigenous character creates an arid environment which in turn give a strong local identity and character.
